We spent today lurking around the temples including watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat. My favourite thing was climbing way up and around one of the temples and stumbling across this little room with an elderly Cambodia woman praying in it. She invited me in so I got Marlou and Frederik to come up as well. The woman lit incense for us and then taught us how to sit. She then did a prayer with us before tying these little red bracelets around our wrists and using the only english she knew to bless us with good luck and long lives.

That afternoon we took a boat ride out to an enormous floating village. Hundreds, even thousands of houses and alike all float out on this monster of a lake, so big you can’t even see where it ends. They have stores out there, everything you need to live in a relevantly sufficient sort of mild poverty. This photo os taken from the top of a larger sort of floating establishment we are on the roof/second story of it. The bottom was a store that also had a crocodile farm attached.
